The festival is made of people.
Volunteers are not a logistical detail. They are the reason this festival is possible at all. Without the people who give their time, their presence, and their energy to this effort, there is no festival — only an idea. If you want to be part of something that is genuinely built together, this is where it begins.
We are looking for people who are curious, reliable, and willing to show up. You do not need specific experience for most roles. What matters is that you care about this place and want to contribute to something that will outlast a single weekend.
Where you can help
The festival runs across three days and multiple venues in and around Polichnitos. There are roles for every kind of person — whether you are local or travelling to join us, whether you are practical or communicative, experienced or simply enthusiastic.
Welcome & Visitor Guidance
Receive guests, orient visitors across venues, and be the first human face of the festival. Knowledge of the village and local area is a plus, but warmth is what counts.
Screenings, Exhibitions & Events
On-the-ground support during programme events — helping with setup, managing audiences, and making sure each experience runs smoothly.
Technical & Practical Support
Equipment setup, cables, projectors, sound — the invisible infrastructure that makes every event possible. Some technical knowledge helpful but not required.
Space Preparation
Preparing and caring for indoor and outdoor venues before, during, and after events — cleaning, arranging, transforming raw spaces into places where things happen.
Transport & Daily Operations
Supporting the movement of artists, volunteers, and equipment across the festival’s locations. Driving licence helpful.
Communications & Documentation
Photography, social media, and coverage of the festival as it unfolds. Help us capture and share what makes each moment worth remembering.
General Coordination
For those who want to be across everything — supporting the core team before, during, and after the festival with whatever is needed.
You don’t need a CV. You need a reason.
Most roles require no specific qualifications — only availability during the festival dates (3–5 July 2026) and a genuine wish to contribute. We welcome volunteers from Polichnitos, from across Lesvos, from mainland Greece, and from abroad. The festival is international by nature, and so is the team that makes it.
Volunteers are hosted by the local community where possible, and we do our best to make sure the experience is worth the commitment. This is not a transaction. It is an invitation to be part of something real.
